Drama workshops are one of the most exciting extra-curricular activities being offered by the Don Rae Academy of Movement & Arts today. With the goal of bringing the stage to schools, the academy has launched after school drama clubs in different schools. Currently, after school drama clubs in Putney and Peckham operate to introduce more and more children to the performing arts. Drama classes are held by experienced and reputable teachers from the field. These teachers, also called specialists, handle and oversee the day to day operation of the classes and development of the students from start to finish. After school drama clubs are designed to complement the students’ education. While pursuing drama, they can incorporate the knowledge that they acquire form schooling and use that to improve on both their academic and extra-curricular activities.
